Language:

Bartleby.com Great Books Online – (search dictionaries, thesauri, books of quotations, Shakespeare, etc)

BabelFish Translator – (a fun little tool for translation. Just type your phrase in and have it instantly translated into the language you need)

The Dialectizer – (need a phrase translated into Redneck, Pig Latin, Cockney or Swedish chef? This is the place!)

Online Reader-Project Gutenberg – (they have a huge catalog of on-line books, but my favorite is the 1811 Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue by Francis Grose)

Here are just a few of the great sites I’ve stumbled upon!
