Well, I\u2019ve finally done it. My brand-spanking new website is complete. It\u2019s been a long time coming but I couldn\u2019t be happier about having both author personas and all my books in the same place. It\u2019s like gathering all my children back together again under\u2014and just in time for the holidays.<\/p>\n
And speaking of holidays, it\u2019s been a busy month at my house. I completed revisions for Secrets of Nanreath Hall<\/strong><\/em> and sent them back to my editor who I hope is even now raving over my mastery of the English language. We\u2019re anticipating an August 2016<\/strong> release for my debut historical fiction novel (Amazon already has it up as a pre-order) though no cover yet. I\u2019ve seen quite a few great options, but we haven\u2019t hit on that one perfect image. I promise to post it here as soon as we do.<\/p>\n In the meantime, I\u2019m banging away on the first draft of its as yet untitled follow-up. It\u2019s not due until next summer which makes me feel like I have oodles of time, but I know how deadlines can creep up on you when you\u2019re not looking so I\u2019m trying to stay nose to the grindstone until it\u2019s finished. Right now, I\u2019m deep in the weeds which is always a tough place to be. It\u2019s the phase where I can\u2019t possibly see a way to the end and all seems at its darkest. (my own personal black moment). Then the a-ha moment hits and I\u2019m off to the races. At least, that\u2019s how it\u2019s supposed to work.
