It’s always extra special to celebrate a new book release with friends so I was incredibly fortunate to spend pub day for THE LAST LIGHT OVER OSLO at my fabulous local indie bookshop The Bookplate in Chestertown, MD. I even found the perfect top to match my book cover! (How cool is that?!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge thanks to bookstore managers Tess and Tom and to\u00a0the staff of The Kitchen at the Imperial for supplying the fabulous food and drink. And a huge shout-out to all the wonderful readers who turned out on a rainy Wednesday evening to hear me talk about Daisy Harriman, my writing process, and the photos that just might have landed me on a State Department watch list.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
